Shields Class Rules

The Shields National Class organization is now doing an excellent job maintaining the class rules online. Please visit the Rules section of the Shields Class Sailing Association web site to review rules.

Please keep in mind the primary rule of the class:

"If it is not specifically allowed, then it is not allowed."

We strive to enjoy sailing as a pure one design class and fleet. Obviously questions will arise and should be directed to the Fleet Measurer or the National Class Measurer.
